How it works and how to install it
The capacitor accumulates the electrical energy needed to give a strong impulse at motor startup, reducing current consumption and extending equipment life. Installation is done by connecting the 4 male terminals to the motor terminals, according to the appliance's wiring diagram, and fixing the capacitor to the desired surface using the included screw and nut. No advanced electrical knowledge is required, but it is recommended to completely disconnect the power before installation.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
