How it works and how to install it
The start capacitor stores electrical energy and releases it instantly to provide the initial torque required to start the motor. It connects between the phase and the common point of the motor using the two attached wires — respect the wire colors in your appliance's diagram. Mount the capacitor in an accessible position, away from excessive heat sources. It does not require special tools, just direct connection to the motor terminals according to the technical manual.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
