How it works and how to install it
The switch operates by rotating the handle between positions 0 and 1, where position 1 activates the electrical circuit and position 0 completely interrupts it. The 4 cams simultaneously control 8 contact pairs, allowing for complex control configurations. Installation requires a 51mm round cutout in the electrical panel, after which the switch body is secured and connections are made to the screw terminals according to the electrical diagram. In accordance with IP42 protection standards, correct mounting ensures resistance to dust and splashing.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
