How it works and how to install it
The clock is powered by the included USB cable connected to any phone charger or directly to a laptop, or by 4 AAA batteries for portable autonomy. Configuration is done via the 3 buttons on the back: SET UP for increasing values, SET DOWN for decreasing, and RESET for resetting. You can switch between two display modes: DP-1 shows time, temperature, and full date, DP-2 shows only time and temperature. The included CR2032 battery retains memory settings even when disconnected.

The red LED has 3 adjustable lighting modes; you can reduce the intensity or permanently deactivate the display, activating viewing by sound or touch.
Are settings lost if the power goes out?
No, the CR2032 memory battery retains all configurations, including alarm, time, and date, even without main power.
How long does the alarm last and how do I turn it off?
The alarm sounds for 1 minute, stops by pressing any button, or the snooze function is activated if configured.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
