How it works and how to install it
The coiled handset cord simply connects between the handset and the body of the landline phone via the two RJ connectors included at the ends — no tools, technical knowledge, or disassembling the device is required. Insert the connector from one end into the handset jack and the other end into the corresponding jack on the phone base until you hear the locking click. The elastic coils absorb movement and return to their original shape after each use.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
