How it works and how to install it
The cable is equipped with a flat EU plug at one end, ready to be plugged into an outlet, and free wires at the other end that connect to the terminals of the lighting fixture. The in-line dimmer, positioned approximately halfway along the cable, is operated by rotating the spherical knob between the ON and OFF positions, allowing continuous adjustment of the supply voltage. The connection of the free wires to the lamp or standard lamp must be performed by a qualified person, and the plug should not be inserted into the outlet before the electrical connections are completed.

This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction.
