How it works and how to install it
The cable combines the coaxial conductor for the BNC video signal and the DC power conductor in a single bundle, so only one pass through the wall or ceiling is sufficient for a camera. Installation does not require special tools: you connect the male BNC plug to the corresponding DVR port, the male DC plug to the camera's power input, and the female DC plug to the 12V adapter — all by simply screwing or pushing the connectors into their sockets. The process takes a few minutes per camera and does not require advanced technical knowledge.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
