Does it also work with a microphone, not just passive audio?
The cable is 3-pole stereo (TRS), so it transmits left-right stereo audio signal. For 4-pole microphones (TRRS) used with smartphones, a dedicated cable with a fourth channel is recommended.
Can I connect two such cables in series to get 20 meters?
Technically it is possible, but at very long lengths, noticeable signal loss may occur. For distances over 10 meters, an audio signal amplifier is recommended.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
