How it works and how to install it
The button is mounted in a 19mm hole (M19 thread) by screwing it in from the back with the included nut — an operation that takes a few minutes and does not require special tools. Connection is made via the 5 pins on the back of the blue connector: 2 pins for powering the 12V LED and 3 pins for the button contact (COM, NO, NC). The wiring diagram clearly indicates which pins should be used for normally open contact (circuit closed when pressed) or permanently open contact, depending on the application.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the wire harness included in the package?
No, the wire harness is not included and must be purchased separately. The button only includes the blue connector with faston pins.
Can I use the button at 24V or only at 12V?
The LED is rated for 12V DC. Use at higher voltages may damage the LED; the mechanical contact supports higher loads, but check the application diagram before connecting.
What is the difference between NO and NC mode on this button?
In NO (normally open) mode, the circuit closes only when pressed; in NC (normally closed) mode, the circuit is closed at rest and breaks when pressed. The choice is made by connecting the wires to the corresponding pins on the connector, according to the included diagram.
