How it works and how to install
The button is mounted in a 22mm hole by screwing with the included removable nut and rubber gasket for sealing. Connection is made via the 6 pins: 2 pins power the blue LED at 220V, and 4 pins form the two switchable NO/NC contacts — choose the type of contact required for your own schematic. The entire installation process does not require special tools, and the markings on the body facilitate pin identification.

What is the difference between a latching button and a non-latching button?
A latching button remains in the switched state after pressing and returns to its initial state only with a new press, unlike a momentary button which returns by itself when released.
Can I use this button outdoors, exposed to rain?

Is the blue LED powered separately or together with the contact?

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
