How it works and how to install it
The neon LED strip operates at 12V DC voltage, requiring a compatible power supply (not included in the package). Installation is simple: the strip has adhesive or can be fixed with clips, and cutting is done directly with scissors on the indicated markings, at minimum intervals of 2.5 cm. No electrical knowledge is required — the connector plugs directly into the 12V source, and the strip is ready to use in minutes.

Can I use this neon LED strip outdoors, in the rain?
Yes, the silicone casing provides IP67 protection, which means the strip is resistant to temporary immersion in water and can be installed outdoors without problems.
Do I need a separate power supply and what type should it be?
Yes, the strip operates at 12V DC and requires a compatible DC 12V power supply with the total power of the strip (approximately 40-50W for 5 meters), which is purchased separately.
Can I cut the strip to a length shorter than 5 meters?
Yes, the strip can be cut along the specially provided markings, at minimum intervals of 2.5 cm, without affecting the function of the remaining portion.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
