The flexible LED strip with purple neon light is a versatile solution for indoor and outdoor decorations, signage, decorative outlines, or ambient lighting in commercial and residential spaces. The IP67 silicone coating makes it water and dust resistant, allowing it to be mounted both indoors and outdoors. With a length of 5 meters and a density of 120 LEDs per linear meter, it produces uniform light, without spots or dark areas.

How it works and how to install it
The flexible purple LED neon strip operates at 12V DC and requires a compatible power supply (not included in the package). Installation is straightforward: the strip comes rolled on a reel, it is unrolled, cut to the desired length at the 2.5 cm marks, and connected to the power supply via the included wires. Fastening to surfaces is done with ties, clips, or double-sided adhesive, without the need for an electrician for 12V installations.

Is the power supply included in the package?
No, the 12V power supply is not included. A compatible power adapter for the total power of the used strip needs to be purchased separately.
Can I use this purple LED strip outdoors, in the rain?
Yes, the strip has an IP67 protection rating, which means it resists temporary immersion in water and is fully protected against dust, making it suitable for outdoor use.
What is the minimum cutting distance for the strip?
The strip can be cut at minimum 2.5 cm intervals, at the markings printed on the casing, without damaging the rest of the strip.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
