How it works and how to install it
The strip operates at 24V DC, so it requires a compatible power supply of at least 220W (sold separately). It should only be cut at the marked points on the PCB, at segment intervals, without damaging adjacent diodes. Fixing is done by peeling off the protective film from the 3M adhesive tape and applying it directly to a clean and dry surface — an operation that does not require special tools and can be performed by anyone without advanced electrical knowledge, provided that the power supply is installed by a qualified person.
Frequently asked questions
What power supply do I need for a whole 10-meter roll?
A 24V DC power supply with a power of at least 220W is required. A 250W or higher power supply is recommended to avoid continuous operation at maximum capacity.
Can the strip be used in the bathroom or outdoors?
No. IP20 protection means that the strip has no resistance to moisture or dust, being intended exclusively for dry indoor spaces.
Can I connect two rolls in series to get 20 meters?
Connecting in series at 24V for lengths greater than 10 meters is not recommended due to voltage drop. Connect each roll directly to the power supply, in parallel.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction.
