No, the 1A (12W) power is sufficient for a maximum of 1 meter of standard LED strip or 3-4 small 3W spotlights. For longer strips, you need a power supply with higher amperage.
Does it get hot during operation?
It is normal for it to get slightly warm on the surface, but it has built-in thermal protection to prevent overheating. Make sure it is not completely covered for natural ventilation.
Can I use it outdoors or in the bathroom?
No, this model is intended for indoor use only, in dry areas. For outdoor use, you need a power supply with IP65 certification or higher.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
