How it works and how to install it

Frequently asked questions
Can I connect three 16A appliances simultaneously?
No, the total limit is 16A for all three sockets combined. If you exceed this current, the integrated fuse will cut off power for protection.
Does the plug heat up with continuous use?
The ceramic rings dissipate heat efficiently, but it's normal to feel a moderate temperature at loads of 10-16A. If it becomes hot, reduce the number of connected appliances.
Does it work with old ungrounded sockets?
It is not recommended. The plug has a grounding contact and should only be used with standard Schuko sockets for complete safety.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
