How it works and how to install it
The timer works completely mechanically, without batteries or separate power supply. It connects directly into the electrical circuit of the appliance, and when the knob is turned to a certain position, the internal mechanism starts counting down. When the time expires, the contacts automatically open, interrupting the power supply. Installation requires basic electrical skills for correct connection of the three terminals according to the diagram in the manual. Ensure that the voltage and current in the installation correspond to the timer's specifications.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
