How it works and how to install it
The bimetal thermostat contains a metal strip that expands as temperature rises. When it reaches the 280°C threshold, the strip actuates the disconnection mechanism and interrupts the electrical circuit. After cooling, the strip returns to its original shape and automatically re-establishes contact. Installation is done by screwing it onto the surface to be monitored and connecting the two terminals in series with the appliance's power supply. Installation time is under 10 minutes with basic tools.
