How it works and how to install it
The thermocouple generates an electrical signal when its tip is heated by the cooker flame. If the flame accidentally goes out, the signal disappears, and the safety valve immediately stops the gas flow. For installation, disconnect the old thermocouple, choose the appropriate adapter from the 5 included, and fix the new thermocouple in place of the faulty one. The operation takes 10-15 minutes and does not require special tools.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
