How it works and how to install it
The power supply connects to a 220V AC outlet via the input cable and converts alternating current to 12V DC to power LED devices. The red and black output cables connect to the corresponding terminals of the LED strip or modules, observing polarity. Installation is done in 10-15 minutes, by fixing the power supply with the integrated clips or double-sided tape in the LED profile or decorative niche.
Due to its IP20 protection rating, the power supply is intended exclusively for installation in dry indoor spaces, protected from direct contact with water or excessive humidity. Passive cooling through the aluminum casing eliminates operating noise and ensures long-term reliability.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I connect any 12V LED strip to this power supply?
Yes, provided that the total power of the strip does not exceed 15W. A 4.8W/meter LED strip can be powered for approximately 3 meters. For longer distances, a higher power supply is needed.
Does the power supply get hot during operation?
It is normal for the power supply to feel warm to the touch, but the aluminum casing efficiently dissipates heat. The operating temperature remains below 65 degrees Celsius, ensuring safe and durable operation.
Can I install the power supply in the bathroom or kitchen?
No, the IP20 protection rating only allows installation in dry indoor spaces. For wet environments, a power supply with a minimum protection rating of IP44 or IP65 is required.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction.
