The 12V 100W ultra slim LED transformer is the perfect solution for indoor lighting installations with LED strips, spots, or LED bars. Due to its reduced thickness of only 18mm, it is easily installed in false ceilings, niches, or narrow spaces where classic power supplies do not fit. The aluminum casing ensures efficient thermal dissipation and stable operation.

How it works and how to install it
The power supply converts 220V AC mains voltage to 12V DC current required by LED strips. Installation is done by fixing with screws in the desired location, connecting the input cables to the socket or switch, and connecting the output cables to the LED strip respecting polarity. The ultra slim format allows positioning in spaces with a minimum height of 20mm.
Passive cooling through the metal casing eliminates moving parts and ensures maintenance-free operation. Built-in protections automatically disconnect the power supply in case of short circuit or overheating.

How many meters of LED strip can I connect to this power supply?
It depends on your strip's consumption. For a 7.2W/m strip, you can connect up to 13 meters; for a 14.4W/m strip, approximately 6-7 meters. Ensure the total power does not exceed 100W.
Can it be used in the bathroom or kitchen?
No, the power supply has an IP20 protection rating and is intended exclusively for installation in dry indoor areas, away from splashing or excessive humidity.
Does it make noise during operation?
No, cooling is completely passive through thermal dissipation in the aluminum casing, without fans or components that produce noise.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
