How it works and how to install it
The power supply converts 220V AC mains power into 48V DC current through transformation and rectification. Installation requires connecting the input cables to the L-N-M terminals and the outputs to V+ and V-, according to the markings on the casing. The output voltage is adjusted with the ADJ potentiometer marked on the power supply.
It must be installed exclusively indoors, in well-ventilated areas, protected from humidity and flammable surfaces. Due to its IP20 protection rating, it cannot be exposed to water or excessive dust. We recommend installation by a qualified electrician to comply with safety regulations.
Frequently asked questions
Can I connect 48V LED strips directly to this power supply?
Yes, the power supply is specifically designed to power 48V LED strips with a total power of maximum 100W. Make sure that the sum of the powers of all connected strips does not exceed 100W.
Do I have to install the power supply in an electrical cabinet?
It is not mandatory, but it is recommended to install it in enclosed spaces, protected from humidity and with adequate ventilation. The casing has perforations for cooling, so it should not be covered or blocked.
How do I know if the voltage selector is in the correct position?
Check the selector on the power supply before connecting. For Romania and standard European networks, select 220V. Connecting to the incorrect voltage will irreparably damage the power supply.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
