How it works and how to install it
The power supply connects to the 220V electrical grid and constantly delivers 24V at the output. The terminals are clearly marked for quick connection: AC input on one end, 24V DC output on the other. Thanks to its slim design and low weight, mounting is done on a DIN rail or with screws in electrical cabinets, without occupying valuable space. Perforated ventilation ensures passive cooling without a fan, thus silent operation.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction.
