How it works and how to install it
The power supply converts 220V AC from the outlet to 12V DC needed for LED strips or surveillance cameras. You connect the 220V power cables to the L (phase) and N (neutral) terminals, then connect the consumers to the +V and -V terminals. Output voltage adjustment is done with a flat-head screwdriver on the ADJ potentiometer until you get exactly 12V or 14V, depending on your equipment's specifications.
Installation requires mounting on a flat surface using the fixing holes in the casing. It is recommended to place it in locations with adequate ventilation and easy access for periodic checks. No special tools are needed — just a screwdriver and pliers for tightening the terminals.
Frequently asked questions
How many meters of LED strip can this power supply power?
It depends on the type of strip. For standard 12V LED strips with a consumption of 12W/meter, the power supply can power up to 15 meters. Check your strip's consumption and do not exceed 180W total.
Can I connect multiple surveillance cameras to the same power supply?
Yes, as long as the total consumption of all cameras does not exceed 15A (180W). For example, 6 cameras at 2A each or 12 cameras at 1A.
Is additional cooling necessary, or does it get very hot?
At maximum load, it heats up moderately, but the perforated metal casing ensures sufficient natural cooling. Ensure a minimum of 5 cm space around the power supply for air circulation.

This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction.
