400W Outdoor Power Supply for LED Strips and 5V Systems
The 400W LED transformer with 5V and 80A output is designed for professional lighting installations with LED strips, advertising panels, or surveillance systems. The aluminum housing with IP52 protection rating allows outdoor mounting with resistance to frost and humidity, and the multiple terminals ensure simultaneous connection of multiple consumers without additional distribution.

How it works and how to install it
The power supply converts the 220V AC mains voltage into a stable 5V DC continuous voltage, necessary for the operation of LED strips and other low-voltage electronic equipment. Installation is done by wall mounting with the included screws, connecting the 220V power cable to the L and N terminals marked on the casing, then connecting the consumers to any of the 6 output terminals marked with -V and +V. The complete connection diagram is printed on the casing.
The upper casing is movable and slides for access to the terminals, then slides back after connection. It does not require advanced technical knowledge, but the 220V connection must be made carefully according to the markings.
Frequently asked questions
Can it stay outside in the rain or does it need to be placed in a box?
The power supply has an IP52 protection rating, it resists frost and humidity, but should not be directly exposed to heavy rain or water jets. It should be mounted under eaves, under advertising panels, or in places protected from direct leaks.
How many meters of LED strip can I power with this power supply?
For a 5V LED strip with a consumption of 5W per meter, you can power approximately 80 meters. For more powerful strips, calculate the total wattage: 400W divided by the consumption per meter of your strip.
Does it make noise during operation or does it have a fan?
It does not have a fan and operates completely silently. The aluminum casing with fins dissipates heat through passive cooling, making it suitable for residential areas or offices.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction.
