How it works and how to install it
Stick the thin metal plate on the back of your phone or directly on its case. Insert the mount's clip between the air vent blades and push until you hear a click — the safety clip automatically locks it. Bring the phone close to the 50mm magnetic surface and the magnet instantly grabs it. To remove it, gently pull the phone and then unlock the clip by pressing the safety clip.

Does the magnet work with a thick phone case?
Yes, as long as the metal plate is stuck on or under the case, the magnet holds firmly even through cases up to 3-4mm thick.
Does the mount detach from the vent during sudden braking?
No, the inverted safety clip mechanically locks the clip into the vent blades and prevents accidental removal, even with shocks or braking.
Does the magnet affect the phone or GSM signal?
No, the magnet is positioned so as not to interfere with electronic components or the phone's antenna. You can use the phone normally at any time.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
