How it works and how to install it
Place an AAA battery in the back compartment, connect the wired sensor to the side jack and position it where you want to measure the outdoor temperature or the temperature in another room. The station automatically displays both values on the screen: indoor temperature (internal sensor) and outdoor temperature (wired sensor), plus relative humidity. The MAX/MIN and RESET buttons allow viewing of recorded extreme values. Foldable stand for a desk or holes for wall mounting — your choice.

How long is the outdoor sensor cable?
Approximately 1 meter, sufficient for running it through a window or for measurement in an adjacent room.
Does the MAX-MIN function retain values permanently or does it reset?
It functions as memory until you press the RESET button or change the battery — very useful for long-term monitoring in greenhouses, cellars, warehouses.
Is the battery included in the package?
No, you need a standard AAA battery (R3 1.5V) which can be found in any supermarket or electronics store.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
