How it works and how to install
The weather station uses two independent digital sensors: one integrated into the casing for indoor temperature and humidity, and one on a cable for remote measurements. Insert the AAA battery, position the device in the desired location, and route the cable with the sensor through a window or door to read the outdoor temperature. The LCD screen automatically displays both temperatures, relative humidity, and the day of the week. Simple buttons allow switching between Celsius and Fahrenheit and viewing the recorded minimum and maximum values.

Yes, the hygrometer measures relative humidity between 25% and 98%RH, making it suitable for humid spaces. However, avoid direct contact of the device with water or persistent condensation.
Is the screen easily visible in bright light or in the dark?
The LCD screen has large digits and good contrast, legible in natural and artificial light. It does not have backlighting, so in total darkness, an external light source is needed.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
