How it works and how to install
The fuse link contains a metallic wire that melts instantly when the current exceeds the nominal value of 3A, interrupting the circuit and protecting the appliance. To replace, disconnect the power supply, remove the blown fuse from its holder, and insert a new one with the same amperage value. Always check the cause of the tripping before replacing the fuse to prevent repeated blowing.

How do I know if the fuse has blown?
Look through the translucent ceramic body — the internal metallic wire will be visibly broken. Alternatively, test with a multimeter on continuity mode.
Can I use a 3A fuse instead of a 5A one?
It is not recommended. The fuse will blow frequently if the appliance requires higher current. Always use the value specified by the manufacturer.
Do they fit in all 6x25mm fuse holders?

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
