How it works and how to install it
The EZ CAT6E plug works on the principle of complete wire pass-through through the transparent connector: strip the cable, insert the arranged wires in T568A or T568B standard order directly through the plug until they exit at the end, visually check the alignment, then crimp with an RJ45 crimping tool compatible with pass-through plugs. The excess wire is automatically cut by the crimping tool during crimping. The process is considerably faster than with traditional plugs and does not require additional special tools beyond a standard CAT6 crimping tool.

Do these plugs work with a regular RJ45 crimping tool?
Yes, EZ pass-through plugs are compatible with most standard RJ45 crimping tools, provided they have a slot for pass-through plugs or can cut excess wire during crimping.
Are the plugs compatible with CAT6 cables with an internal plastic separator?
Yes, the enlarged channel design allows for the insertion of CAT6 cables with a central separator (spline), but the separator must be shortened before inserting the wires into the plug.
Can I use these plugs for solid UTP cable or only for stranded cable?
The CAT6E plugs in this set are compatible with solid conductor UTP cable (for fixed installations), the most common type found in structured network cabling.

This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction.
