How it works and how to install
The RJ45 FTP Cat6E connector uses a pass-through system: after stripping the cable, the 8 conductors are inserted through the connector until they exit through the front opening, where their order can be easily checked and corrected. Once the correct position is confirmed, the ends are cut flush with the connector using a knife or crimping tool, after which the connector is crimped with a standard RJ45 crimping tool compatible with pass-through connectors. The process is significantly faster than with classic connectors and reduces the rejection rate during crimping.

Do these connectors also work on UTP cable, not just FTP?
Yes, the connector is compatible with UTP, FTP, and SFTP cable of category 6 and 6E, with an individual wire outer diameter of up to approximately 1.0 mm.
Do I need a special crimping tool or will a regular one work?
An RJ45 crimping tool compatible with pass-through connectors is required, as the cutting blades must reach the front end of the connector. Standard crimping tools for classic connectors may not be compatible.
What does Cat6E mean — is it different from Cat6 or Cat6A?
The designation Cat6E indicates a superior Cat6 connector, optimized for improved performance at higher frequencies, compatible with Gigabit Ethernet infrastructures and applications up to 10 Gbps over short distances.

This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction.
