How it works and how to install
Each cutter has a side slider for locking — slide the blade to the desired length and fix the position with a simple press. When the blade gets dull, fully retract it, remove it through the front end, and insert a new one from the spare set. To break off worn sections of the blade, use the special cap in the blister pack or pliers — do not attempt to break by hand. The 18mm cutter is suitable for thick cardboard, carpets, or plastic materials, while the 9mm model is perfect for fine cuts in paper, foil, or thin fabrics.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
