How it works and how to install
The tape has adhesive applied to both sides and is protected by a glossy film on one side. Clean and completely dry the surface where you will apply it. Peel the tape from the protective backing, apply it to the first surface pressing firmly, then remove the other protective layer and stick the second material. It tears by hand to the required size, without scissors. Caution: once applied, the tape cannot be reused — the fixing is permanent.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can the tape be removed after application without damaging the surface?
No, the adhesive is permanent and very strong. Removal can leave marks or damage sensitive surfaces such as wallpaper or paint.
Does the tape hold on rough or porous surfaces?
Adhesion is optimal on smooth, clean, and dry surfaces. On very porous, rough, or damp surfaces, the holding power decreases significantly.
Can I use the tape for delicate clothing or textiles?
It is not recommended. The strong adhesive can penetrate fibers and is extremely difficult to remove without damaging the textile material.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
