The compact triangular profile discreetly attaches to the edge of steps or railings, clearly marking circulation surfaces at night. How it works and how to install
Each solar step light has the photovoltaic panel integrated on the upper face, which captures sunlight throughout the day and powers the internal battery. At sunset, the automatically activated light sensor turns on the 24 LEDs, without any intervention from you. Installation does not require technical knowledge: choose one of the three available methods — screws for permanent mounting on a fence, 3M tape on the back of the solar panel for railings, or 3M tape applied to both sides of the light for direct mounting on the step — turn on the switch and the light is operational.

How long does the light work after a cloudy day?
The autonomy depends on the charge level of the internal battery. After a day with partial sun, the light can operate for a few hours; for optimal performance, the solar panel must be exposed for at least 6-8 hours to direct natural light.
Can these lights be mounted directly on concrete or stone steps?
Yes, installation method 3 involves applying 3M adhesive tape to both sides of the light, which allows it to be fixed on hard flat surfaces, including concrete, stone, or metal.
Does the light stay on all night or does it have a motion sensor?
Based on the information in the images, the light operates continuously from dusk until daylight, without a motion sensor — it is designed for permanent illumination of steps and fences throughout the night.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
