How it works and how to install it
The tie is inserted through the fastening head, tightened around the cables to the desired level, and the ratchet mechanism keeps it locked. Unlike classic cable ties, this one can be opened by pressing the side lever, allowing adjustment or removal without breaking. It is used to secure cables to sockets, consoles, pipes, profiles, or other surfaces, by fixing it through holes or by attaching it to other ties. No tools are required — installation is done manually in a few seconds.

Yes, they can be used in outdoor areas protected from direct UV radiation and extreme weather. For direct exposure to sun and rain, we recommend UV-protected ties.

The locking mechanism allows opening and reuse over 20-30 times under normal conditions, depending on the cable diameter and usage.
What is the maximum cable thickness I can secure with a 200mm long tie?
The maximum diameter of the cable bundle is approximately 6cm when the tie is fully closed, sufficient for 10-15 standard electrical wires or LED cables.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
