How it works and how to install it
The sensor detects human body temperature via infrared and automatically turns on the light when someone enters the detection range. After 20-25 seconds of exiting the area, the light automatically turns off. Installation is done by connecting the 4 wires: two long wires for 110-220V AC power and two short wires for the output to the lamp. The detachable plug and threaded nut ensure quick fastening to any compatible light fixture. Recommended for installation at a minimum height of 1.5m.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
