How it works and how to install it
The detector uses electrochemical sensors that continuously monitor the concentration of gases in the air. When the level exceeds the safety threshold, the digital screen displays the alert, the red ALARM LED lights up, and the 85dB siren automatically starts. Installation is immediate — connect the device to a standard 220V outlet 1.5-4 meters away from the gas source, 30cm from the ceiling for methane/natural gas or 30cm from the floor for LPG/propane. The green POWER LED confirms correct power supply.

It detects CH4 (methane), C2H6OH (ethanol), coal gas, C3H8 (propane), C6H6 (benzene), C2H4O (ethylene oxide), C6H14 (hexane), C4H10 (n-butane), and C2H4 (ethylene) — practically all combustible and toxic gases used in domestic and industrial settings.
Does it work non-stop or does it have batteries?
It works exclusively on a 220V AC outlet, without batteries. This guarantees continuous 24/7 protection without the risk of the battery running down.
Where do I install it for stove gas and for the central heating system?
For LPG/propane stove gas, install it 30cm above the floor (LPG gases are heavier). For natural gas from the central heating system, position it 30cm below the ceiling (methane rises). Optimal distance from the gas source: 1.5-4 meters.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
