How it works and how to install it
The tape measure is ready for use immediately after unboxing. Pull the metal tape to the desired distance, then use the main button or the side buttons to lock the tape in position. The magnets at the end of the tape automatically attach to metal surfaces, allowing you to measure by yourself. After measuring, release the lock button, and the tape automatically retracts into the casing. The clip on the back attaches directly to your belt, and the wrist strap provides extra security against dropping.

Yes, the casing is protected with a rubber layer that absorbs shocks from ordinary drops. However, avoid repeated impacts from great heights to keep the retraction mechanism functional.
Can I use the tape measure for vertical measurements?

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
