How it works and how to install
The heating element has two independent circuits: one connected to the DC 48V solar system, which operates preferentially during the day, and one connected to the AC 220V grid, which automatically takes over when solar energy is insufficient. Integrated thermostats automatically stop heating at 85 degrees for maximum safety.
Installation is done by replacing the old heating element in the water heater, connecting the distinctly marked cables for DC and AC, and testing the functionality of both sources. It does not require advanced electrical skills, only respecting the polarity for the DC connection and the phase for AC.

Can I use this heating element with 12V or 24V solar panels?
No, the heating element is strictly designed for DC 48V systems. For other voltages, you will need a suitable DC-DC converter or a heating element compatible with your system's voltage.
How long does it take to heat a 100-liter water heater?
With 500W DC solar power, approximately 4-5 hours to reach 60 degrees Celsius. With 1000W AC grid power, the time is reduced by half, about 2-2.5 hours, depending on the initial water temperature.
What happens if both sources are connected simultaneously?
The heating element functions correctly with both sources permanently connected. The system will preferentially use available solar energy, and the AC grid will supplement or take over when necessary, without risk of overload.
