How it works and how to install
The heating element is installed by replacing the old one: drain the boiler, loosen the flange with an adjustable wrench, extract the worn heating element and insert the new component, ensuring that the thermostat and anode are correctly positioned. After securing the flange with the original screws, reconnect the wires to the marked terminals, fill the boiler and power it on.
The heating element operates at 220V, converting electrical current into heat distributed evenly through the bent copper tubes. The thermostat automatically cuts off power when the set temperature is reached, protecting against overheating.

Can I install this heating element without calling a plumber?
Yes, installation is simple and does not require specialized skills. You need an adjustable wrench, adherence to the steps of pre-draining the boiler, and correct connection of the wires to the terminals according to the existing marking.
Will it work with my boiler if it has a different power rating on the plate?
The heating element is compatible with most standard flanges, but check the size of your existing flange and make sure your electrical system supports 1500W. The power may differ from the original heating element if it is 1000W-2000W.
Is it mandatory to also install the protective anode?
It is recommended to use the protective anode in the support provided on the flange, as it significantly extends the life of the boiler by capturing limescale deposits and reducing corrosion.
