The W743 50W solar floodlight provides powerful light via its COB chip where there are no outlets – construction sites, yards, campsites, or night outings. Charging is automatic via the integrated solar panel on the back of the unit or via a 5V micro-USB cable, so the work light is always ready for use. The included remote control allows for full remote control without having to move to the device.

How it works and how to install it
The W743 floodlight does not require fixed installation: you place it on the included stand, point the solar panel towards the sky, and the lamp automatically charges during the day through the solar energy captured by the panel's glass. Alternatively, you can connect the micro-USB cable to any 5V source for fast indoor charging. The rubber-protected switch offers three press cycles — 100%, 50%, and OFF — and the remote control allows for setting the lighting schedule remotely, without additional tools or cables.

How long does the lamp work after a full charge?
Autonomy depends on the chosen light intensity and the li-ion battery capacity; at 50% power, autonomy is significantly higher than at 100%. Exact times also vary depending on solar charging conditions.
Can I use the floodlight in rain or wet conditions?
Yes, IP67 protection allows use in rain and high humidity environments; however, the floodlight should not be submerged in water.
Can I charge the lamp via cable, not just solar?

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
