How it works and how to install it
The floodlight connects directly to the 220V electrical network via the included power cable. The external PIR sensor, mounted on a flexible cable, can be independently oriented from the floodlight body, allowing precise coverage of the area of interest. Installation is done with screws on any solid surface — wall, rock, or pole — through the holes provided in the adjustable metal bracket, without requiring the intervention of a certified electrician if an outdoor circuit is already available.

How long does the floodlight stay on after the sensor detects motion?
The light retention interval after detection is adjustable directly on the PIR sensor, usually between 10 seconds and several minutes, depending on the chosen setting.
Does the sensor also work during the day, or does the floodlight turn on with any motion?
The sensor has an integrated twilight function — the floodlight will not activate in sufficient light conditions, but only after dark, thus automatically saving energy.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
