How it works and how to install
The pump is mounted vertically on the edge of the well or in the technical room, connecting to the suction and discharge pipes. The foot valve must be positioned at least 50 cm above the bottom of the well and at least 50 cm below the water level to prevent dry running. Connection to the mains is made via a differential ON/OFF switch with protection, using a rubber-sheathed cable with a minimum cross-section of 3x1 mm2. We recommend calling an authorized electrician for the first installation, then priming the pump before each start to protect the sealing ring.

Can the pump also work for water from a deep well or fountain?
Yes, it operates efficiently at suction depths up to 7 meters and can pump water to a height of 30 meters. It is designed strictly for clean water, free of gravel, mud, or other impurities.
What happens if the pump runs out of water during operation?
Running dry destroys the sealing ring and reduces motor life. Therefore, it is essential to check the water level and prime the pump before starting.
Can I leave the pump installed in winter or should it be dismantled?
It must be dismantled in winter to avoid water freezing in the pump body, which would cause cracks and permanent damage. Store it in a dry and protected place.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
