The terminal pin is installed by crimping with special pliers onto the end of the stripped cable. The 8mm metal part is inserted into the terminal, and the black insulation protects the connection. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction.
