The operation requires minimal electronics knowledge and simple tools: a hot air gun or soldering iron, thermal paste, and a multimeter to check the driver's polarity.

Can I use this chip without a heatsink?
No. A 100W COB chip generates significant heat, and operation without a heatsink leads to rapid degradation or immediate destruction of the component. Mounting on a heatsink with thermal paste is mandatory.
How do I identify the polarity for connection?
The positive and negative poles are marked on the metal substrate of the chip. If the markings are not clearly visible, use a multimeter in diode test mode to correctly identify the polarity before powering it on.
