This UNI-T UT200A clamp meter combines the functions of a digital multimeter with the advantages of non-contact measurements using a clamp. It measures AC current up to 200A, AC/DC voltage up to 600V, resistance and circuit continuity, making it the ideal tool for electricians, technicians, and DIY enthusiasts who need quick diagnosis of electrical installations.

How it works and how to install it
To measure current, open the red clamp, encircle the conductor cable, and read the value on the screen without interrupting the circuit. For voltage or resistance, connect the test leads to the COM and V/Ohm terminals, select the desired function with the rotary switch, and apply the probes to the measurement points. The HOLD button locks the reading for notation. The 9V battery is easily changed by unscrewing the back cover.

Can it measure the consumption of an air conditioner?
Yes, it measures AC current up to 200A, sufficient for any household appliance, including powerful air conditioners or welding machines.
Do I need to turn off the power to use it?
Not for measuring current with the clamp. For voltage and resistance, observe the safety rules specific to each measurement.
Does it include the battery required for operation?
The 9V 6F22 type battery is not included in the package and must be purchased separately.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
