How it works and how to install it
The female binding post is mounted by drilling a hole in the equipment panel or enclosure, inserting the threaded rod through the hole, and tightening it with the nut on the back of the panel. The signal or power conductor is connected to the threaded terminal at the top, where it can be secured with a washer and nut or by means of a soldered wire. Installation does not require specialized tools and can be completed in a few minutes.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
