How it works and how to install
The connector is mounted onto the cable by inserting the wires into the 4 contact pins and tightening the fixing screws with a small screwdriver. The cable grip mechanism is tightened separately to prevent strain on the terminals. Connecting to equipment is done by inserting the connector into the female Speakon port and rotating until it locks into position — no additional tools required.

The cable entry is dimensioned for speaker cables with an outer diameter of up to approximately 8 mm, covering the vast majority of standard speaker cables available on the market.
Can I use this connector for 2-pin speakers or do I need a special one?
The connector has 4 pins, but it can also be used with equipment with 2-pin Speakon ports — in this case, only pins 1+ and 1- are connected, the rest remaining unused.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
