How it works and how to install
The 35mm COB LED module is equipped with two power contacts marked L and N, which connect directly to the 220V AC mains. No separate power supply or LED driver is required. Due to its circular shape and the mounting slots of the aluminum heatsink, the chip is easily fixed to the light fixture or to an additional heatsink, if the application requires. Given the 220V operating voltage, installation must be carried out exclusively by qualified personnel, under appropriate electrical safety conditions.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
