How it works and how to install it
The controller connects between the power supply and the RGB LED strip via the female DC jack connector at the input and the 4-wire pins at the output — it does not require advanced electrical knowledge; the connections are standardized and intuitive. The RF remote control operates on a radio frequency of 433.92 MHz, meaning the signal passes through furniture or thin walls, unlike infrared remotes which require direct line of sight. The CR2025 battery is included in the remote control, so you can test the product immediately upon receipt.

Does it work with any RGB LED strip or only with certain models?
It works with any 4-wire RGB LED strip (R, G, B, +12V) powered at 5V, 12V, or 24V. It is not compatible with RGBW or addressable WS2812 type strips.
Does the remote control need to be pointed at the controller, like a TV remote?
No — RF (radio frequency) technology does not require a direct line of sight. You can control the strip even if the remote and controller are separated by furniture or a thin wall.
What is the maximum current the controller supports and for what strip length is it suitable?
The maximum output current is 12A total (3A per channel), which corresponds to approximately 5 meters of standard density RGB strip at 12V. For longer lengths, using a signal amplifier is recommended.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
