How it works and how to install it
The limit switch is mounted on a fixed structure, and the 11mm roller comes into contact with the moving element of the automation system. When the rod is pressed by a minimum of 8mm, the internal contact instantly triggers and stops the motor or activates the programmed function. Electrical connection is made via the 3 screw terminals, according to your electrical circuit diagram. Fixing is done through two mounting holes, and final position adjustment is made by adjusting the mounting distance. No special tools are required — just a screwdriver and standard wrenches.

How much does the rod need to be pressed to trigger the limit switch?
The actuation travel is 8mm, meaning the rod must be moved by a minimum of 8 millimeters to activate the electrical contact.
Can it be used outdoors, on an automatic gate?
The limit switch does not have declared IP protection, so it is recommended to protect it from moisture and rain with an additional enclosure or by mounting it in a covered area.
Can it switch inductive loads such as electric motors?
Yes, it supports 15A at 250V AC, but for motors or inductive loads, it is recommended to use an intermediate relay to protect the contacts and increase durability.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction.
